Preview: FA Euro @ Reading United AC

Brooklyn, NY--The PDL club suffered their second loss of the regular season, and their second loss in a row. FA Euro (1-2-0) now has their third game in a span of seven days. Not an easy task, as they travel down to Reading, PA to take on the affiliate of the Philadelphia Union, in the Reading United AC (1-1-0).

Last game for Euro, was the home opener at Belson Stadium on the campus of St. John's University, versus the Ocean City Nor'Easters, who came into New York City with back to back wins versus an Evergreen squad, who was defeated by FA Euro just a week prior. A plethora of events occurred during the match regarding foul play, fouls, and even some ejections that included a few suspensions.

The PDL sent notifications out to the FA Euro club stating that Head Coach Joe Balsamo and forwards Adam Marcu and Charlie Ledula were all suspended for the match versus Reading United AC. A huge blow to a club who have lost two straight after shutting out Evergreen in the Mid-Atlantic a couple of weeks ago.

Reading United AC, coming off of their first loss of the 2017 campaign versus the New York Red Bull U23 squad, lost 3-2 in Whippany, NJ. They are heading home looking to rebound against our PDL club in their building, attempting to keep the Euros 220 minute scoring streak alive moving into Week 5 of the 2017 PDL Season.
