FA Euro Swept by Jersey Express

ELIZABETH, NJ--The PDL club (3-10-0) suffered a 7-1 loss in Elizabeth, NJ, as they took on their biggest rival Jersey Express (5-9-0) on their home turf, for the third and final matchup between the two, of the 2017 season.

 

Euro has lost all three games versus the Jersey Express soccer club, by a combined score of 14-1. The opposition has scored 28 total goals on the season, and half those goals came against your own FA Euro PDL club. Express also out shot the Euro club 24-10 in 92 minutes of regulation play.

 

Jersey Express played their final game of the season, and finished it off in a very strong way on their home field in Elizabeth.

 

In the three total games versus the club based in Elizabeth, Euro was outshot 48-22. They look to improve on those numbers in the 2018 season.

 

The goals came from Ricardo Oldham, Hayden Criollo, Rafael Terci and Harry Pearse. Criollo scored a hat trick in the game in the clubs 10th loss.

 

FA Euro had one goal, and that was the second of the season from Charlie Ledula.

 

Injury updates from the game included Nico Anderson who suffered a lower body injury, where he was removed in the games 21' minute.

 

Euro is back at it tomorrow at 7:30 in Queens for their final matchup of the season versus Evergreen FC.
